randy Randy Miller is founder and chair of the Portland Ambassadors. He has brought business leaders together with government officials to collaborate on economic development work, helping to provide over $1 million in private contributions toward this effort. Randy leads best-practices missions to cities around the country, offering Portland leaders the opportunity to learn from other communities and to bring those lessons back to our own community.

In addition, Randy serves as the honorary consulate to the Republic of Lithuani and is the Director of the Oregon Consular Corps. When Randy isn't building better business practices and being a civic leader, you can find him training for the next marathon.

Bringing Big Business to Portland

Hey, Port of Portland!  Thank you for attracting nonstop service from PDX to both Asia and Europe!  It makes a huge difference in SO many ways!

Here are some personal examples of why I think this service is so significant to Portland:

First, I have helped to drive business to this region for almost 40 years. The companies we attract all require essential elements to consider this as a relocation city. Without exception, they all travel internationally and require nonstop flights to Asia and Europe. Oregon is among the most international trade-dependent states in the U.S., and conditions would be worse here without those flights. Read more »
